In this session, we will explore multicultural literature. We will discuss how to include it in classrooms from pre-K to high school Spanish class! Books will be in English and Spanish. Come collaborate with other educators to design language arts lessons that are diverse and inclusive.

Amy Lucio

Early Literacy Coordinator, Hays Public Library
Amy Lucio has more than twenty-five years of teaching experience in Texas in the bilingual, ELL, and Spanish as a world language fields. She has taught pre-K students through high school. Lucio currently serves as the Early Literacy Coordinator at the Hays Public Library.
